Austrian Airlines plans to resume flight operations between Erbil and Vienna from 20 August 2020.
The flights are scheduled as follows.
- Three times a week: Thursday, Friday and Sunday;
- VIE-EBL: 6.40-11.25 | EBL-VIE: 12.40-15.40.

The Austrian Governement has issued strict entry requirements into Austria in order to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. In general, entry of third-country nationals is forbidden. However, some exemptions apply for third-country citizens with an alien passport or with right to residency in Austria as well as third-country nationals with urgent medical needs that possess a certified promise of treatment issued by an Austrian hospital.
