Michel Reimon reports on the daring rescue efforts of the refugees on Mount Sinjar by the Kurdish Peshmerga and international aid organizations.
“The helicopters fly medicine, food and drinking water to the people. On the day when I was in the helicopter, the Peshmerga forces managed to fly 100 people to a safe airport which was about a six hours drive away from Erbil and militarily well protected. “
