On the occasion of the Yezidi New Year, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani sends his wishes to the Yezidi community in the Kurdistan Region and the world.
I extend best wishes to my fellow Yezidi citizens in the Kurdistan Region and across the world on the occasion of the Yezidi New Year. I hope the new year will bring you happiness, and mark an end to the pain and hardship caused by the genocide you suffered at the hands of Isis terrorists in recent years.
The Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to defend and protect the rights of all religious and ethnic groups, including the indigenous Yezidi community.
