The following documents can be authenticated by the office of the KRG Representation in Austria.
- Marriage certificates
- Birth certificates
- Death certificates
- Company registration documents
- Reference letters issued by employers in Austria or in the Kurdistan Region
Please note that the documents must first be certified by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Consult this website to learn more about this procedure.
In order to obtain an authentication, please bring the following documents to the Representation of the Kurdistan Regional Government in person:
- The respective document to be authenticated
- An identification document (passport, ID card, citizenship card)

Other hours for acceptance are only granted in exceptional cases and with prior telephonic or written appointment.
